Job description

Deaconess Health System is seeking Board Certified/Board Eligible Endocrinologists to join our growing specialty practices across Indiana, Kentucky and Southern Illinois. With opportunities in Evansville and Jasper, Indiana; Hopkinsville, Kentucky; and Marion/Mt. Vernon, Illinois, physicians can choose the practice environment and community that best fits their professional and personal goals.

Our endocrinology opportunities offer the ability to build a rewarding practice within a supportive, physician-led health system. Depending on location, practices offer established referral networks, APP and clinical staff support, collaborative relationships with primary care and specialists, Epic EMR, and opportunities to help expand endocrine services in high-demand communities. Positions range from primarily outpatient practice to opportunities incorporating inpatient consultation and shared call.

Practice opportunities include:

• Evansville, Indiana: Join an established team of 5 endocrinologists and 5 APPs with dedicated pharmacy support, a strong referral base, minimal night call and opportunities for teaching, regional outreach and clinical research.

• Jasper, Indiana: Develop your own endocrinology practice in a rapidly growing market with strong community referrals, hospital-employed dietitian support and a flexible 4-5 day work week.

• Hopkinsville, Kentucky: Join a growing outpatient-focused practice with APP support, an established Deaconess referral network, potential 4-day work week and the opportunity to help shape the future of endocrinology services in Western Kentucky. J-1 visa candidates are encouraged to apply.

• Marion/Mt. Vernon, Illinois: Join a growing Southern Illinois practice with outpatient and inpatient opportunities, shared call, and the ability to serve patients across two communities. J-1 visa candidates are encouraged to apply.

Compensation and benefits include competitive guaranteed base salaries of $350,000, productivity and/or quality incentives, sign-on bonuses, relocation assistance, residency/fellowship stipends, comprehensive health and retirement benefits, paid malpractice coverage, CME time and financial support, and coverage of licensing, DEA and board certification expenses. Additional support may be available for qualifying physicians, including student loan assistance and immigration sponsorship.
