Job summary

Knorr Brake Company seeks a Planning & Order Professional to manage end-to-end order processing and coordinate with Supply Chain, Production, Finance, and Logistics. You will ensure accuracy, timely inquiries resolution, and continuous improvement of order management.

The role emphasizes customer satisfaction, operational excellence, and collaboration across departments to support innovative mobility solutions. On-site work in the Springfield, MO area is expected.

Qualifications

• Completed higher education in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Operations Management, Engineering, or a related field.
• Several years of professional experience in order management, planning, supply chain, customer service, or a comparable position is preferred.
• Experience in manufacturing or industrial environment is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary interface for intercompany customers, ensuring effective communication and timely resolution of inquiries.
• Review customer orders for completeness, accuracy, and plausibility, ensuring alignment with contractual and operational requirements.
• Manage the complete order processing cycle, from order receipt through delivery coordination and invoicing.
• Coordinate closely with Supply Chain, Production, Finance, Logistics, and other relevant departments to ensure smooth order fulfillment.
• Support and execute special projects and operational tasks within Supply Chain and Production.
• Prepare, analyze, and report KPIs to support decision-making and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Provide backup support for order processing, planning activities, and organizational tasks within the Service Center function.
• Identify opportunities to improve processes, increase efficiency, and enhance customer satisfaction.
• Contribute actively to shaping the future of mobility through professional and customer-focused operational support.
• Ensure compliance with internal policies, procedures, and quality standards.
