Job summary

Verus Mortgage Capital is seeking an Event Marketing Coordinator to design, plan and execute trade shows, conferences and company events. You will partner with Sales and Marketing to deliver on-brand experiences that generate leads and strengthen relationships with customers, partners, and vendors.

You'll own events from start to finish, manage budgets, book venues, coordinate shipping, signage, staff and registrations, and track ROI to inform future plans. Occasional travel (10-15%) is expected.

Qualifications

• 2+ years coordinating events, trade shows, or marketing programs.
• Strong organizational skills managing multiple vendors and deadlines.
• Clear, professional communication with internal teams, vendors, and leadership.
• Comfort with budgets, contracts, and negotiating with vendors.
• Sharp attention to detail when tracking physical inventory and assets.

Responsibilities

• Own events end-to-end — planned, delivered, executed, and returned.
• Plan logistics for trade shows, conferences, and company events.
• Coordinate with vendors, venues, and internal teams to keep budgets and timelines.
• Manage event registration, badges, and attendee communications.
• Partner with design to develop booth graphics and promotional materials.
• Track leads generated at events and coordinate handoff to sales.
• Measure event performance (attendance, leads, ROI) and report results.
