CloudScale Systems in Oxford, MS is seeking a mid-level Data Scientist who loves solving hard problems with Work Ethic and Pandas. This role offers end-to-end ownership of projects and a salary in the 72,000–108,000 USD range in a collaborative, mentorship-friendly environment.

You will work with fast-moving decision formats, help optimize startup times, and translate data findings into actionable recommendations for product and stakeholders.

Formación

• Ability to interpret data and translate findings into clear recommendations.
• Comfort with interpreting data and communicating insights to stakeholders.
• Experience with Python and Pandas in data science projects.
• Familiarity with BigQuery data stores and data integrity responsibilities.
• Good judgment and problem-solving in fast-moving environments.
• Ability to flag mistakes and learn from feedback.
• Experience working in temporary or shifting schedules.

Responsabilidades

• Reverse-engineer the Decision Making format and improve documentation.
• Cut R cold-start times to speed up startup in MS users' time frames.
• Write clean, well-tested code that scales with user growth.
• Negotiate tradeoffs with product when timelines collide with reality.
• Review pull requests and uphold engineering standards across the team.
• Own data integrity across BigQuery stores for Oxford reporting.
• Read Pandas stack traces, trace bugs to root causes.
• Design Decision Making APIs used by Oxford teams next year.
