Job summary

OnPoint Data Strategy is seeking an AI Solution Developer to design and deploy internal applications and data systems. You will own projects end-to-end, from requirements gathering with business users to production deployment, including managing schedules, dependencies, and status reporting.

You will build UI, API, and data layers, create data pipelines, and integrate AI tools such as Claude Code or Codex into the production apps used by staff across departments.

Qualifications

• Software development in a business environment
• UI, API, and data layer construction
• Running own projects with schedule, dependencies, reporting
• Building and shipping REST APIs
• End-to-end AI development tooling integration (Claude Code/Codex)
• SQL against large relational databases
• Automated data pipelines on schedule
• Gathering requirements and writing specs

Responsibilities

• Build internal applications and services used daily by staff across departments
• Decommission legacy systems and databases
• Create data pipelines that bring data into our ecosystem
• Integrate AI models, retrieval, and agents into apps used by teams
• Gather requirements with each department
• Own solutions from requirements to production
• Manage project schedules and deadlines independently
