Job summary

Sabert Corporation seeks a reliable Palletizer to safely stack, label, and secure finished cases on pallets, supporting efficient end-of-line operations. This role requires attention to product quality, safety, and housekeeping, including basic troubleshooting and repack tasks as needed.

Responsibilities include following standard pallet patterns, printing and applying correct labels, operating certified forklifts, and maintaining a clean, organized work area using 5S practices.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required; additional relevant skills are helpful.
• Minimum of one year experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Safety gear including safety glasses with side shields, hearing protection, and steel-toed shoes is required.

Responsibilities

• Stack finished cases onto pallets according to standard patterns and height requirements.
• Print, verify, and apply pallet labels with correct product codes, lot numbers, and date codes.
• Secure pallets using stretch wrap machines or manual wrapping.
• Operate forklifts (as certified) to move pallets to staging, shipping, or storage areas.
• Maintain organized lanes for WIP and completed product.
• Perform repack tasks, including sorting damaged cases and restacking product to quality standards.
• Keep palletizing area clean and organized using 5S practices.
• Monitor tape machines, ensure supplies are stocked, and perform basic troubleshooting.
• Verify carton quality: correct date/time codes, proper glue welds, and no damage.
• Relieve coworkers for breaks/lunch to maintain continuous coverage.
• Own the end-of-line process through teamwork, communication, and problem-solving.
