Job summary

HCA HealthONE's AirLife EMS team in Denver, CO seeks an EMT to join a premier pre-hospital transport program serving the Rocky Mountain region. This role supports ambulance operations, patient assessment, and coordination with Critical Care teams to deliver timely emergency care.

Qualifications

• EMS Certification must be current from the State of Colorado.
• Minimum age 19 at time of hire.
• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Insurable driving record and compliant driving privileges policy.
• Criminal background must meet company standards.
• Current Colorado EMT certification and National Registry certification.
• IV and CPR certifications required.

Responsibilities

• Respond to emergency calls and assist in patient care as directed.
• Assist Paramedic in determining patient status and care priorities.
• Observe and administer care en route as directed by medical control.
• Identify notes for receiving facility and assist in transferring patients.
• Help lift, carry, and transport patients safely.
• Maintain ambulance readiness and cleanliness; decontaminate as needed.
• Check vehicle readiness (oil, gas, tires) and stay familiar with equipment.
• Document regulatory requirements for handling deceased patients.
