MU Health Care is seeking a dedicated Emergency Medical Technician to join our on-site Ambulance Services. The EMT will perform BLS care, assess patient needs, and support Paramedic partners while maintaining readiness of EMS equipment and vehicles.

Ideal candidates hold Missouri EMT licensure, have strong report-writing skills, and can work varied shifts including nights, holidays, and weekends in a fast-paced environment that serves our community.

Qualifications

• EMT licensure is required by Missouri DHSS.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Strong ability to assess emergencies and provide BLS care.

Responsibilities

• Perform Basic Life Support procedures and assess patients.
• Maintain ambulance readiness and ensure equipment is stocked and clean.
• Assist Paramedics and operate ALS equipment when needed.
• Prepare clear, thorough patient reports for QA/QI and billing.
