Methodist Midlothian Medical Center in Midlothian, Texas, seeks an Emergency Medicine Specialist to provide direct patient care in a fast-paced Emergency Department. You will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to deliver high-quality patient care and support services for patients, families and ED staff.

Qualified candidates hold a Texas EMT-P license with BLS; ACLS is preferred, and Pediatric Advanced Life Support is recommended.

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent is required.
Current Basic Life Support Certification required; Advanced Cardiac Life Support preferred.
Current Texas EMT‑P certification (license required).
Pediatric Advanced Life Support recommended.
1 year as a paramedic in pre‑hospital or hospital setting; 2 years experience as EMT‑P preferred.

In this highly technical, fast-paced, and rewarding position, you’ll collaborate with multidisciplinary team members to provide the very best care for patients. The Emergency Medicine Specialist assists with direct patient care to provide support services to the patients, families and other Emergency Department staff.

Your Job Requirements:

High school diploma or equivalent
Current Basic Life Support Certification required; Advanced Cardio Life Support preferred
Current Texas EMT‑P certification (license required)
Pediatric Advanced Life Support recommended
1 year as a paramedic in pre‑hospital or hospital setting;2 years experience as EMT‑P (preferred)
