Job summary

CommonSpirit Health EMS is seeking an EMT for outpatient settings to perform essential patient care, collect vital signs, document visits, and administer medications and vaccines. You will ensure exam room readiness, maintain safety checklists, and escalate non-routine issues promptly.

The role requires EMT-B certification, TN licensing, and BLS/CPR within 14 days, with a focus on safety, protocol adherence, and efficient intake processes. High school diploma or GED is required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED upon hire.
• EMT-B Certification upon hire.
• Driver's License upon hire.
• Basic Life Support (BLS/CPR) within 14 days.

Responsibilities

• Provide emergency medical treatment and transport as required.
• Document care in approved Patient Care Report program.
• Complete required paperwork by end of shift.
• Maintain readiness of equipment and fully stocked ambulance.
• Report deficiencies to supervisor and restock as needed.
• Work as part of CommonSpirit Health EMS team.
