Job summary

Medcor Inc. seeks a full-time EMT or Paramedic as Onsite Health Technician at our employer-based occupational health clinic in Everett, WA. Two shifts: Sun-Wed 4:30pm-2:30am and Wed-Sat 4:30pm-2:30am. You will triage injuries, perform first aid, and support wellness education while handling daily clinic operations.

You will cooperate with Safety, HR, and offsite medical providers, using MCPs and EMR software, with opportunities for growth and on-site collaboration.

Qualifications

  • Ability to work independently with strong time management.
  • CPR/BLS certification and current licensure required.
  • Proficient with EMR software and basic computer tools.

Responsibilities

  • Provide first aid and triage injuries according to MCPs.
  • Manage daily clinic operations and supply ordering.
  • Collaborate with Safety Team, HR, and offsite medical providers.
  • Work independently with remote support from operations.
  • Administer health services and document in EMR systems.
  • Deliver excellent customer service to employees and clients.
  • Conduct pre-employment screenings and PATs.
  • Maintain OSHA records and general administrative duties.

Job description

Onsite Health Technician (EMT / Paramedic)

Medcor is looking to hire a full time an EMT or Paramedic to be an Onsite Health Technician in our employer based occupational health clinic in Everett WA

We currently have two shift options available Sunday to Wednesday 430pm 230am and Wednesday to Saturday 430pm 230am

Responsibilities
  • In this position you will provide first aid care and treatment by triaging an employee after an injury following our step by step care protocols and supporting the employees with wellness education and teaching
  • You will also be responsible for the daily operations of the clinic including ordering supplies and following compliance processes
  • You will work collaboratively with the employers Safety Team and Human Resources as well as working with medical providers at offsite offices such as the urgent care and hospitals
  • You will be working independently with support available by the operations manager and other Medcor staff remotely
  • Administer and manage health service functions and daily clinic operations
  • Provide superior customer service to Medcors client and employees
  • Assessment and treatment of workplace injuries and illnesses according to Medcors Evidence Based Medicine protocols known as the Medcor Care Protocols MCPs
  • Build and maintain internal team relationships
  • Support for onsite employee health and wellness efforts
  • Collaborate with client professionals in health safety and environmental practices
  • Collaborate with client human resources and benefits professionals on clinic issues
  • Document and manage information using electronic medical records software and other tools
  • Pre employment and post offer screenings
  • Physical Assessment Testing PATs
  • Case management
  • OSHA record keeping
  • General administrative duties
Qualifications
  • You Must Be able to work independently and have good time management and organizational skills
  • Have valid licensure for the position in which you are applying and current CPRBLS certification
  • Have strong computer and other technology skills navigate cell phones texting fax machines etc as well as familiarity with EMR software
  • Be strong enough to lift a 50lb emergency response bag
  • Possess excellent verbal written communication skills
  • Have a positive and outgoing personality
  • Be willing to go above and beyond just because thats who you are
  • Be passionate about people and giving them the best care humanly possible
  • Be able to have fun
  • Its a Plus If You are comfortable working in a worksite clinic environment
  • You have relevant occupational health experience
  • You have experience in emergency medicine or critical care

The compensation for this position is 3700 3900hour
