Job summary

Global Medical Response is seeking Emergency Medical Technicians (EMTs) to respond to emergency and non-emergency medical requests and provide compassionate, high-quality care. EMTs assess patients, determine necessary care, and apply appropriate techniques and equipment while documenting information and ensuring patient confidentiality.

Minimum qualifications include a high school diploma or GED, state driver’s license, EMT certification, CPR/BLS, and a clean driving record.

Qualifications

High school diploma or GED is required.
State Driver’s License is required.
National or WA state EMT certification is required.
CPR/BLS certifications are required.
Driving record must be in compliance with company policy.
Pass Physical Agility Test is required.
Some work experience, preferably in healthcare.

Responsibilities

Provide patient assessments and determine necessary care and deliver emergency services.
Document patient information, condition and treatment while maintaining confidentiality.
Maintain a safe, clean, and well-stocked environment for patients.
Utilize EMT skills and equipment to deliver care and assistance.
Operate ambulances in accordance with company policies and traffic laws.
Collaborate with allied health and public safety personnel.
Participate in community programs to support AMR image and relations.
