Job summary

Mercy Health is seeking a Basic EMT to provide care and transportation for emergency and non-emergency patients in pre-hospital settings, operating an ambulance safely and maintaining required certifications.

The role requires a High School Diploma or GED, Basic EMT certification, a valid state driver’s license, BLS, EVOC within 3 months of hire, and 1 year of incident-free driving (1–3 years preferred). Mercy Health offers competitive pay and robust benefits.

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or GED required.
  • Vocational/Technical Degree preferred.
  • Basic EMT certification in state of practice required.
  • Valid State Driver’s License required.
  • BLS Basic Life Support – American Heart Association required.
  • EVOC training required within 3 months of hire.
  • 1 year experience with incident-free driving required.
  • 1-3 years experience preferred.
