Job summary

Coastal Ambulance in Florida seeks EMTs to provide basic life support and transport patients in accordance with laws and CHSB policies. The role covers BLS level care and transporting patients to appropriate facilities, with a focus on compassionate, high-quality care.

You will work with a dedicated field operations team, receive training and support, and benefit from a comprehensive benefits package and opportunities for professional growth.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• Current State of Florida EMT certification.
• Current Florida Driver’s License with driving record that meets insurance requirements for driving a company-owned vehicle.
• American Heart Association BCLS, ACLS and PALS, EVOC/CEVO (may be obtained during training); Other certifications as required

Responsibilities

• Provide basic life support medical care and transportation in accordance with applicable laws, regulations and CHSB policies.
• Deliver BLS level of care, treatment and transport to appropriate receiving facilities.
• Maintain safety and communicate with hospitals and facilities during transports.
• Offer compassionate, patient-centered care to all patients.
