Job summary

American Medical Response in Aiea, HI is hiring EMTs for full-time roles. You will respond to emergency and non-emergency requests, deliver high-quality care, and document patient information with confidentiality.

The position pays hourly and DOE, with opportunities to work in a collaborative team environment. Requirements include HI EMT license, HI driver’s license, BLS, NREMT, and a physical agility test, plus a GED or high school diploma and healthcare experience.

Qualifications

HI State EMT License is required.
HI State Driver’s License is required.
BLS certification is required.
NREMT certification is required.
High school diploma or GED (or equivalent).
Pass Physical Agility Test.
Some healthcare work experience preferred.

Responsibilities

Assess patients and provide emergency medical services using EMT skills.
Document patient information, condition and treatment while maintaining confidentiality.
Maintain a safe, clean, and well-stocked environment for patients.
Use EMT skills to provide care with equipment and procedures.
Operate an ambulance following company safety policies and traffic laws.
Collaborate professionally with health and public safety personnel and other EMTs.
Participate in community programs to support AMR image.
