Job summary

Lynx Boardman is seeking a dedicated EMT to join our team on a full-time day shift. The EMT will provide safe, professional patient care while responding to medical needs and transporting patients as required.

The ideal candidate will have EMT certification, CPR/BLS, and a valid driver's license, with strong clinical skills, good judgment, and a commitment to patient safety.

Qualifications

• Current EMT certification/license as required by state/local regulations.
• Current CPR/BLS certification.
• Valid driver's license with acceptable driving record.
• Ability to complete required background and employment screening.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to remain calm and make sound decisions during stressful situations.

Responsibilities

• Provide appropriate emergency and non-emergency medical care within the scope of EMT practice.
• Assess patients and identify medical needs in a timely and professional manner.
• Monitor and document patient condition and vital signs.
• Provide basic life support and appropriate emergency interventions.
• Safely transport patients to hospitals, medical facilities, and other approved destinations.
• Assist with patient movement, lifting, transferring, and positioning as needed.
• Communicate effectively with patients, family members, healthcare professionals, dispatch, and other team members.
• Maintain accurate and complete patient care and transport documentation.
• Operate emergency medical equipment safely and appropriately.
• Inspect and maintain the ambulance and medical equipment to ensure readiness.
• Restock medical supplies and report equipment deficiencies promptly.
• Follow all applicable company policies, medical protocols, and regulatory requirements.
• Maintain patient confidentiality and professionalism at all times.
• Respond promptly and appropriately to assigned calls and patient‑care needs.
• Work effectively as part of a team while maintaining a calm and professional demeanor.
• Perform other duties as assigned by management or medical leadership.
