Job summary

Six Flags New England is seeking an EMT to join the Safety Department. The role provides basic life support on-site for guests and associates, upholding the park’s safety standards while delivering rapid, professional care during pre-hospital events.

This position requires MA EMT certification, a current BLS CPR card, a valid MA driver's license, and the ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays. Excellent communication and guest-service skills are essential in high-traffic situations.

Qualifications

• Massachusetts EMT certification currently held.
• Current BLS Healthcare Provider CPR card.
• Massachusetts driver's license with clean record.
• Strong work ethic, attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to interact with large groups professionally.
• Friendly, outgoing personality and guest service oriented.
• Willing to work in a high-performance team.
• Flexible schedule including evenings, weekends and holidays.
• Physical ability to walk long distances, stand long periods, lift, and work at heights.
• Able to communicate in English (read, speak, understand).
• 18 years old or older.

Responsibilities

• Support and uphold the mission, goals and objectives of the Safety Department.
• Provide quality basic life support care to patients in pre-hospital settings.
• Follow policies and procedures for First Aid and safety operations.
• Coordinate with EMS, Fire, and Police as needed for patient care and transport.
• Document and input data per departmental requirements.
• Perform minor vehicle maintenance as required.
• Respond to the Emergency Response Guide as needed.
• Enforce all park safety policies.
• Assist in other areas of the Safety Department.
• Perform other incidental duties as assigned.
