Job summary

MMT Ambulance is hiring EMTs in the Omaha area to provide essential patient care during transports. You will perform basic life support, operate EMS vehicles, document charting accurately, and work closely with dispatch and healthcare teams.

The role requires an EMT certification, CPR, a valid driver's license, and excellent communication skills. Candidates must be physically capable of handling demanding environments and lifting heavy loads.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Current EMT certification is required.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
• Current CPR certification.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Able to lift up to 125 lbs and operate EMS equipment.

Responsibilities

• Administer basic life support within EMT scope during transports.
• Safely operate and maintain EMS vehicles per laws and policies.
• Deliver competent patient care and document information accurately.
• Coordinate with dispatch and healthcare teams and assist colleagues as needed.
• Maintain equipment, restock supplies, and keep station clean.
