Job summary

Metro Paramedic Services, Inc. seeks part-time EMT/Firefighters to join our contract in South Beloit, IL. The EMT/Firefighter provides medical care and transportation for patients at the EMT-B level within state guidelines and company policies.

Requirements include EMT License, Firefighter II or Basic Operations Certification, CPR, and a valid Illinois driver’s license. Metro offers training for ACLS and PALS, plus benefits and paid time off. Wage is USD 24.00 per hour.

Overview

Metro Paramedic Services, Inc. contracts with local municipalities to provide Emergency Medical Services, Rescue and/or Fire Services. Much of our proven success is attributable to the exceptional, compassionate customer service provided by our employees.

We are seeking part-time EMT/Firefighters to join our contract at South Beloit.

The basic function of theEMT/Firefighter is to provide medical care and transportation for a patient at theEMT/Firefighter (EMT-B) level, within their scope of practice, as stipulated by Illinois Department of Public Health (IDPH) and/or EMS Commission of Illinois.

Qualifications

EMT/Firefighter Qualifications:

• EMT License


• Firefighter II or Basic Operations Firefighter Certification


• 1 year experience - preferred


• CPR Certified


• 21 Years of age


• Valid Illinois Driver's License


• ACLS (Metro will train)


• PALS (Metro will train)


• Successfully completion of pre-employment physical, drug screen and background check
