Job summary

Champion EMS is seeking an Emergency Medical Technician EMS to provide urgent medical treatment and support to patients from accident scenes and other emergencies. The role involves operating an advanced life support ambulance, leading a team of responders, and ensuring equipment readiness and sanitation.

Responsibilities include rapid response to incidents, collaborating with physicians on care plans, and thorough documentation in compliance with federal, state, and local regulations.

Qualifications

• EMT-B certification and regulatory requirements (as applicable).
• Ability to operate an advance life support ambulance and equipment.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills for coordination with responders and physicians.

Responsibilities

• Responds to life-threatening, emergency, and non-emergency calls.
• Coordinates care plan with physicians based on patient assessment.
• Lead and coordinate a team of responders to triage and transport patients.
• Ensure proper functioning of EMS equipment and vehicles through checks.
• Assist in station cleanliness and interaction with other public safety personnel.
• Complete documentation in compliance with regulations (HIPAA, OSHA, etc.).
• Handle hazardous materials and ensure proper disposal per standards.
• Participate in ongoing training related to EMS regulations and EMT-B requirements.
