Job summary

Navarre Corporation in Des Moines, IA is seeking experienced EMTs to join a VA-contracted team that values consistency, professionalism, and accountability on every call. This is not entry-level work; you will provide safe BLS care, assist paramedics on higher-acuity calls, maintain equipment readiness, document accurately, and represent the company professionally.

Shifts are 12 hours (8am–8pm). Compensation includes $19.47 per hour, plus a Health & Welfare wage of $4.50 per hour (up to 80 hours

Minimum Qualifications

• Current EMT certification (Illinois or ability to obtain)

Physical Requirements

• Ability to lift, move, and carry patients and equipment up to 150+ lbs with assistance
• Frequent bending, lifting, kneeling, and prolonged standing
• Ability to safely load and unload stretchers and equipment
• Work in varied environments including confined spaces and adverse weather
• Maintain stamina and focus during 12-hour shifts
