Job summary

Linden Ponds by Erickson Senior Living is seeking a Security and Emergency Services Officer II (EMR/EMT) to protect residents and property at our gated retirement community. The role involves patrols, responding to emergencies, enforcing rules, and coordinating with local EMS when needed.

The position offers full-time schedules including Fri/Sat/Sun days or nights, competitive hourly pay of $22-$26, and a benefits package with health, PTO, a 401k match, and on-site wellness services.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Possess and maintain a valid driver’s license.
• Prior experience in Security and/or Emergency Medical Services is preferred.
• Current CPR for Healthcare Providers certification.
• Current Emergency Medical Responder certification.
• Higher level certification/licensure is acceptable as a condition of hire; new hires must obtain EMR within 30 days.

Responsibilities

• Perform regular patrols of the property, provide relief staffing for the gatehouse, and respond to emergency and routine calls for service.
• Enforce all traffic and parking regulations.
• Respond to calls for service from dispatch and security.
• Respond to medical emergencies and provide efficient care utilizing basic interventions.
• Follow up on reports of missing items, theft, vandalism, and other potential criminal activity.
• Coordinate with local police, fire, and EMS during emergencies.
• Complete thorough incident reports using the online system.

Join our team as a Security and Emergency Services Officer II (EMR/EMT) at our gated retirement community. In this role, you will be responsible for implementing our Security and Emergency Services programs and providing outreach within the community.

Schedules:

• Full-time Fri/Sat/Sun 7am-7pm
• Full-time Sat/Sun/Mon 7pm-7am

Compensation: $22 - $26 hourly commensurate with experience

What you will need

• Current CPR for Healthcare Providers certification
• Current Emergency Medical Responder certification. (Higher level certification/licensure is acceptable as a condition of hire, however, new hires will be required to obtain EMR certification within 30 days).
