Job summary

Tanner Health is seeking an EMT-B to provide Basic Life Support (BLS) patient care and coordinate ambulance transport in critical situations.

The role requires a Georgia EMT-B license, a valid driver's license, and the ability to work under pressure, often with extended shifts and in varying weather conditions. The successful candidate will work as part of a team alongside other EMS units.

Qualifications

• A minimum of two years of driving experience is required.

• Behavioral and Physical Skills: -Act calmly and quickly in emergencies -Work independently as part of a team, sometimes alongside emergency fire and police units -Create and maintain a positive and cooperative working environment in stressful situations -Work during odd hours and for extended periods, sometimes outdoors and in adverse weather conditions -Work with much standing, bending, and kneeling -Work with a partner in lifting patients whose weight occasionally exceeds 200 pounds -Avoid or minimize health risks from exposure to ill patients.

Must possess a valid driver's license and maintain an acceptable motor vehicle record. Employment is contingent upon successful completion of a motor vehicle record (MVR) check and meeting insurability requirements. A minimum of two (2) years of driving experience is required.
