Job summary

Baylor Scott & White Health is seeking an Emergency Medical Tech - Basic to provide quick, quality care and transport for critically ill or injured patients in a fast-paced environment.

The role involves performing patient assessments, initiating treatment plans per TDHS guidelines, documenting care accurately, and ensuring ambulances are ready to respond. Requires HS diploma and EMT-B with BLS; less than 1 year experience preferred.

Qualifications

• HS diploma or GED required.
• EMT-B certification required with BLS.
• Less than 1 year of experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provides critical care interventions and patient transport independently.
• Performs patient assessments and initiates treatment per TDHS guidelines.
• Documents patient care accurately and promptly.
• Ensures ambulances are ready to respond at all times.
• Maintains cleanliness and organization of the ambulance and crew areas.
