Job summary

Qualifications

• Must hold a valid MI EMT license or NREMT certification.
• Ability to provide medical care at EMT-Basic or EMT-P level while transporting patients.
• Possess a valid driver’s license and good driving record.
• Pass pre-employment interview, physical, lifting exam and drug screening.
• Attend company-provided training and driving course.

Responsibilities

• Provide patient care as EMT-Basic per training.
• Safely transport patients and navigate to locations.
• Assess patient condition and communicate with medical staff.
• Document patient condition, history and treatment; assist with billing docs.
• Maintain vehicle sanitation and monitor fluid levels.
