Job summary

American Medical Response in Las Vegas, NM seeks Emergency Medical Technicians (EMTs) to respond to emergency and non-emergency requests for medical assistance, delivering high-quality care, treatment, and customer service to patients.

We offer a $2,000 sign-on bonus for full-time hires. EMTs will perform assessments, provide care, and work with a team to ensure patient safety and comfort on every call.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• High school diploma or GED required.
• State Driver’s License required.
• State EMT certification required.
• CPR/BLS certifications required.
• Driving record in compliance with company policy.
• Pass Physical Agility Test.

Responsibilities

• Provide assessment of patients, determine necessary care, and deliver emergency services using appropriate medical techniques and equipment.
• Document patient information, condition and treatment while maintaining confidentiality and patient rights.
• Maintain a safe, clean, and well-stocked environment for patients.
• Utilize EMT skills to provide care including communications, medical equipment, cleaning procedures, office equipment and tools.
