Job summary

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Respond to requests for service and perform medical care and procedures in accordance with state regulations and local protocols.
• Operate EMS vehicles and equipment safely.
• Coordinate with dispatchers, physicians, nurses, and other emergency services.
• Prepare detailed medical, operational, and incident reports as required.
• Maintain vehicles, equipment, and supplies in a state of readiness.
• Assist in keeping facilities and grounds clean and professional.
• Participate in EMS community education and relations activities.
• Provide medical treatment and transport to sick or injured persons.

Education

High school diploma or GED

EMS related degree (preferred)

EMT training program completed

Current state EMT certification
