Job summary

LifeCare Ambulance - Memphis/Mississippi is seeking an Emergency Medical Technician (EMT)-Basic to join our team. You will provide basic emergency and non-emergency care, respond to calls, and transport patients to facilities in Memphis, TN.

The role requires EMT-Basic licensure in Tennessee, a valid F-endorsed driver's license, CPR, and the ability to lift 100+ lbs. PTO, competitive pay, and benefits are available.

Qualifications

Proficient at the BLS level of service.
Must be 18 years or older.
High school diploma or GED is required.
Tennessee EMT-Basic licensure is required.
Valid Driver’s License with an F endorsement and clean driving record.
Current CPR card is required.
Consent to a criminal background check.
Ability to lift/push/pull 100+ lbs.

Responsibilities

Provide basic emergency and non-emergency paramedical care to the ill and injured.
Respond to emergency calls and transport patients to medical facilities.
Continue to provide care during transport to the hospital.
Maintain composure in stressful situations and perform emergency lifesaving procedures.
Safely transfer patients onto stretchers and load them into the ambulance.
