Job summary

AMR is seeking Emergency Medical Technicians (EMTs) for immediate full-time opportunities in the Washington, DC area. Starting at $26.04 per hour or more based on experience, you will respond to emergency and non-emergency medical requests and provide high-quality care and customer service to patients.

Responsibilities include patient assessment, documentation, and collaboration with health and safety teams while ensuring a safe environment and adherence to policies and procedures.

Qualifications

• Must have a state EMT license and a valid driver's license.
• High school diploma or GED required.
• BLS and NREMT certifications preferred.
• Ability to pass Physical Agility Test.
• Some healthcare experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide patient assessment and determine necessary care; deliver emergency services.
• Document patient information, condition and treatment while maintaining confidentiality.
• Maintain a safe, clean, and well-stocked environment for patients.
• Utilize EMT skills for care, including communications and equipment handling.
• Operate an ambulance in accordance with safety policies and traffic laws.
• Collaborate with allied health and public safety personnel; work with fellow EMTs.
• Participate in community programs to maintain AMR image and relations.

We’re hiring Emergency Medical Technicians (EMTs) that will respond to emergency and non-emergency requests for medical assistance and deliver high-quality care, treatment and customer service to patients.

Responsibilities:

• EMTs provide an assessment of patients, determine necessary care and deliver emergency services by utilizing appropriate medical techniques and equipment.

• Document patient information, condition and treatment while maintaining confidentiality and patient rights.

• Take pride in providing a safe, clean, and well-stocked environment for patients.

• Use appropriate EMT skills to provide care including communications, medical equipment, cleaning procedures, office equipment and tools.

• EMTs operate an ambulance in conjunction with applicable company safety policies, and traffic laws related to the operation of emergency medical response vehicles.

• Work collaboratively and in a professional manner with all allied health and public safety personnel as well as your fellow EMTs.

Other Responsibilities:

• Participate in community programs to maintain AMR image and establish strong community relations.

MinimumRequired Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent (GED)

• Driving record compliant with company policy

• Pass Physical Agility Test

• Some work experience, preferably healthcare
