Job summary

Rural Metro Fire Department is seeking Emergency Medical Technicians (EMTs) for a full-time role. EMTs respond to emergencies and deliver high-quality care and customer service to patients. Responsibilities include patient assessment, documentation, and delivering care while adhering to safety policies.

You will operate with other public safety personnel and support a safe, professional EMS environment. Minimum qualifications include HS diploma or GED, State EMT License, State Driver’s License,

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.

• BLS and NREMT certifications preferred.
• Driving record must comply with company policy.
• Must pass Physical Agility Test.
• Some healthcare work experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• EMTs assess patients, determine needed care, and deliver emergency services using appropriate techniques and equipment.
• Document patient information, condition and treatment while maintaining confidentiality and patient rights.
• Maintain a safe, clean, and well-stocked environment for patients.
• Provide care using EMT skills including communications, equipment handling, and basic office procedures as applicable.
• Operate an ambulance in accordance with company safety policies and traffic laws.
• Collaborate professionally with allied health and public safety personnel and fellow EMTs.
• Participate in community programs to maintain AMR image and relations.

IMMEDIATELY HIRING! EMT FULL-TIME Opportunity

We’re hiring Emergency Medical Technicians (EMTs) that will respond to emergency and non-emergency requests for medical assistance and deliver high-quality care, treatment and customer service to patients.

Responsibilities

• EMTs provide an assessment of patients, determine necessary care and deliver emergency services by utilizing appropriate medical techniques and equipment.
• Document patient information, condition and treatment while maintaining confidentiality and patient rights.
• Take pride in providing a safe, clean, and well-stocked environment for patients.
• Use appropriate EMT skills to provide care including communications, medical equipment, cleaning procedures, office equipment and tools.
• EMTs operate an ambulance in conjunction with applicable company safety policies, and traffic laws related to the operation of emergency medical response vehicles.
• Work collaboratively and in a professional manner with all allied health and public safety personnel as well as your fellow EMTs.

Other Responsibilities

• Participate in community programs to maintain AMR image and establish strong community relations.

Minimum Required Qualifications
