Job summary

A local emergency service provider is seeking Emergency Medical Technicians (EMTs) for immediate full-time positions. EMTs will respond to both emergency and non-emergency medical requests, providing high-quality care and service. Candidates must possess a high school diploma, a valid State EMT license, and related certifications. Responsibilities include assessing patients, documenting information, and maintaining a clean and safe environment. Job description

Emergency Medical Technician (EMT)

Emergency Medical Technicians (EMTs) respond to emergency and non‑emergency requests for medical assistance, delivering high‑quality care, treatment and customer service to patients.

Responsibilities
  • Assess patients, determine necessary care and deliver emergency services using appropriate medical techniques and equipment.
  • Document patient information, condition and treatment while maintaining confidentiality and patient rights.
  • Maintain a safe, clean, and well‑stocked environment for patients.
  • Use EMT skills to provide care, including communications, medical equipment, cleaning procedures, office equipment and tools.
  • Operate an ambulance in accordance with company safety policies and traffic laws related to the operation of emergency medical response vehicles.
  • Collaborate professionally with allied health and public safety personnel as well as fellow EMTs.
Other Responsibilities
  • Participate in community programs to maintain AMR image and establish strong community relations.
Minimum Required Qualifications
  • High school diploma or equivalent (GED)
  • State EMT License
  • State Driver’s License
  • BLS, NREMT certification
  • Driving record compliant with company policy
  • Pass Physical Agility Test
  • Some work experience, preferably in healthcare
Preferred Qualifications
  • Related experience in healthcare.
