Job summary

Global Medical Response (AMR) is hiring Emergency Medical Technicians (EMTs) to respond to emergency and non-emergency requests for medical assistance, delivering high-quality care and customer service to patients. This full-time position features 12-hour shifts, often nights, weekends and holidays, with starting pay at $17.00 per hour and credit for experience.

Qualifications

• CPR/BLS certification current (AHA or Red Cross).
• Colorado EMT certification active.
• High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
• Valid driver’s license in good standing.
• PAT completed.
• NREMT preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assess patients and render emergency services using appropriate techniques/equipment.
• Document patient information and maintain confidentiality and rights.
• Maintain safe, clean, and fully stocked environment for patients.
• Provide EMT care including communications and equipment handling.
• Operate an ambulance in accordance with safety policies and traffic laws.
• Collaborate with allied health and public safety personnel.

We’re hiring Emergency Medical Technicians (EMTs) that will respond to emergency and non-emergency requests for medical assistance and deliver high-quality care, treatment and customer service to patients.

This position works full-time 12-hour shifts, which are often nights, weekends, and holidays.

Responsibilities

• EMTs provide an assessment of patients, determine necessary care and deliver emergency services by utilizing appropriate medical techniques and equipment.
• Document patient information, condition and treatment while maintaining confidentiality and patient rights.
• Take pride in providing a safe, clean, and well-stocked environment for patients.
• Use appropriate EMT skills to provide care including communications, medical equipment, cleaning procedures, office equipment and tools.
• EMTs operate an ambulance in conjunction with applicable company safety policies, and traffic laws related to the operation of emergency medical response vehicles.
• Work collaboratively and in a professional manner with all allied health and public safety personnel as well as your fellow EMTs.

Other Responsibilities

• Participate in community programs to maintain AMR image and establish strong community relations.

Minimum Required Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED equivalent
• Colorado EMT certification
• Current CPR/BLS certifications (AHA or Red Cross)
• Valid driver’s license in good standing
• Driving record compliant with company policies
• Successful completion of the Physical Ability Test (PAT)
• NREMT preferred.
