Job summary

Jobtailor is seeking a qualified donor health professional to perform medical history reviews, conduct physical examinations, and assess donor suitability.

Responsibilities include donor education, counseling on test results, managing injuries and adverse events, supporting staff training, and administering the Hepatitis B vaccine program while upholding confidentiality and health standards.

This role requires current licensure in the state and strong communication with donors.

Qualifications

• Must be licensed/certified in the relevant state (RN/LPN/LVN/Paramedic/EMT).
• Current CPR certification required.
• Demonstrated expertise in donor evaluation and health risk assessment.

Responsibilities

• Perform medical history assessments and physical examinations to determine donor suitability.
• Build rapport with donors to ensure overall customer satisfaction.
• Maintain donor and staff confidentiality at all times.
• Provide donor education on health and counseling regarding unacceptable test results.
• Evaluate and manage donor injuries and adverse events.
• Perform evaluations of any history of illness or medications to ensure continued donor suitability.
• Assist in employee training and administer Hepatitis Vaccine program.

Requirements

• Educated and currently certified/licensed in the state of employment and according to state requirements as a Registered Nurse, Licensed Practical Nurse, Licensed Vocation Nurse, Paramedic, or Emergency Medical Technicians
• Current CPR certification required.
