Join Parachute, LLC is hiring an EMT (EMT-B/ EMT-A) in Jackson, MS to join a lean, high-growth center team focused on donor health and safety. You will support donor experiences, collaborate with center staff, and help ensure a welcoming environment for donors.

Qualifications

• At least 18 years old.
• High school diploma, GED or higher.
• Certified/licensed EMT (Advanced or Basic) in the state of employment.
• Current BLS or CPR certification.
• Able to lift 50 pounds and stand or sit for extended periods.
• Ability to work weekends.

Responsibilities

• Monitor donor eligibility and safety; perform health screenings and physical exams.
• Respond to donor reactions and provide care as needed.
• Work collaboratively with all center staff.
• Manage health logs and test results with clinical oversight.
• Keep exam rooms clean, stocked, and compliant.
• Cross trained in all center functions including phlebotomy and station setup.
