Job summary

Parachute is seeking an EMT (Physician Substitute) to join a lean, high-energy site team in Morristown, TN. You will help ensure donor health and safety and contribute to a positive donor experience in a fast-growing plasma donation program.

The role requires EMT certification, BLS/CPR, and the ability to lift up to 50 pounds. This full-time position offers competitive pay and benefits with potential for monthly bonuses.

Qualifications

• Must be a certified/licensed EMT (Advanced or Basic) in the state of employment.
• Current BLS or CPR certification is required.
• Able to lift 50 pounds and stand or sit for extended periods.
• Must be able to work weekends regularly or as needed.

Responsibilities

• Monitor donor eligibility and safety; perform health screenings and physical exams.
• Respond to donor reactions and provide care as needed.
• Work collaboratively with center staff.
• Manage health logs and test results with clinical oversight.
• Keep exam rooms clean, stocked, and compliant.
• Cross-train in all center functions including phlebotomy and processing bottles.
