Job summary

MEMS in Little Rock, AR is seeking an Emergency Medical Technician to provide care to emergency and non-emergency patients and to assist Paramedics with life support and transport. You will operate emergency vehicles, collaborate with EMS, and uphold safety protocols.

A strong focus on professional communication and rapid assessment is required. The role requires Arkansas State EMT Certification, National Registry EMT License, a high school diploma, and a valid driver’s license.

Qualifications

• Must have a current Arkansas State EMT Certification.
• Must have a current National Registry EMT License.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid driver’s license and acceptable driving record.
• Minimum age of 19.
• Must be physically fit and able to pass a physical examination.
• Must pass a pre-employment drug screening. This is a safety-sensitive position.
• Must pass a criminal background check.
• American Heart BLS Level C (Can be obtained after hire on-site).

Responsibilities

• Assist Paramedics in providing life support and transport patients.
• Restore and promote patient health following medical protocols.
• Operate emergency vehicles and collaborate with EMS.
