Job summary

AMR is hiring Emergency Medical Technicians (EMTs) to respond to emergency and non-emergency requests for medical assistance in the Bronx, NY. Starting pay is $20.35/hr, with bonuses for referrals. Responsibilities include patient assessment, care delivery, and documentation.

Onsite positioning with a focus on safety and high-quality patient service. Minimum education is High School/GED, NY EMT certification, CPR/BLS, and a valid NY Driver's license.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED.
• EMT-B certification required by NY state.
• CPR/BLS certification required.
• Nassau and Suffolk REMAC credentials desirable.
• State Driver's License required.
• Pass Physical Ability Test (PAT).
• Healthcare experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide emergency medical care and respond to EMS calls.
• Document patient information and treatments while maintaining confidentiality.
• Maintain a safe, clean, stocked environment for patients.
• Operate EMS equipment and vehicles within policy and law.
• Coordinate with other health and public safety professionals.
