Job summary

AMR is seeking Advanced Emergency Medical Technicians (AEMTs) to respond to emergency and non-emergency medical requests and deliver high-quality care and customer service. You will assess patients, determine needed care, document information, and maintain a safe environment while collaborating with other medical and public safety teams.

Minimum qualifications include a GED, a valid state driver’s license, a current AEMT certification, CPR/BLS, and a clean driving record.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• Valid State Driver’s License is required.
• National or State AEMT certification is required.
• CPR and BLS certifications are required.
• Driving record must comply with company policy.
• Ability to pass Physical Agility Test.
• Some healthcare work experience preferred.

Responsibilities

Responsibilities:

• EMTs assess patients,determinenecessarycareand deliver emergency services by usingappropriate medicaltechniques and equipment.

• Document patient information, condition and treatment whilemaintainingconfidentiality and patient rights.

• Take pride in providing a safe, clean, and well-stocked environment for patients.

• Useappropriate EMTskills to provide care including communications, medical equipment, cleaning procedures, officeequipmentand tools.

• EMTs operate an ambulance in conjunction with applicable company safety policies, and traffic laws related to the operation of emergency medical response vehicles.

• Work collaboratively and professionally withall alliedhealth and public safety personnel and your fellow EMTs.

Other Responsibilities:

• Participate in community programs tomaintainAMR image andestablishstrong community relations.

MinimumRequiredQualifications:
