Job summary

Global Medical Response is seeking Advanced Emergency Medical Technicians (AEMTs) in Alabama to respond to emergency and non-emergency requests, delivering high-quality care and customer service. Hourly rates start at $19.00, with a DOE adjustment, and we are immediately hiring for full-time and part-time opportunities.

Responsibilities include assessing patients, determining required care, documenting conditions and treatments, and ensuring a safe, clean environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• State Driver’s License required.
• National or State AEMT certification required.
• CPR/BLS certifications required.
• Driving record in compliance with company policy.
• Pass Physical Agility Test.
• Some work experience, preferably in healthcare.

Responsibilities

• EMTs assess patients, determine necessary care and deliver emergency services using appropriate techniques and equipment.
• Document patient information, condition and treatment while maintaining confidentiality and patient rights.
• Provide a safe, clean, and well-stocked environment for patients.
• Use EMT skills to provide care including communications, medical equipment, cleaning procedures, and office tools.
• Operate an ambulance in line with company safety policies and traffic laws.
• Work collaboratively with allied health and public safety personnel and fellow EMTs.
• Participate in community programs to maintain AMR image and establish strong community relations.
