Qualifications

• Current NYS EMT certification (or higher) required.
• Current NYS CIC preferred.
• Minimum 3 years’ EMT-B+ field/clinical experience.
• Experience with curriculum development and program management preferred.
• Prior teaching EMS, healthcare, or public safety preferred.
• Proficiency with instructional technologies and LMS.

Responsibilities

• Deliver EMT curriculum per NYS DOH and AMR standards.
• Develop and implement lesson plans, materials, and assessments.
• Facilitate lectures, labs, simulations, and scenario-based training.
• Evaluate student performance across cognitive, psychomotor, and affective domains.
• Maintain accurate records of attendance and performance.
• Provide feedback, coaching, and remediation to students.
• Coordinate with scheduling to manage ride-alike experiences and labs.
