Job summary

Six Flags Entertainment Corporation is seeking an Emergency Medical Technician to provide medical care to employees and guests at our park facilities. You will maintain a safe environment and support positive public relations while following company policies and local, state, and federal laws.

The role requires active EMT certification (NJ/NY/PA or national) with CPR, a valid driver's license, and the ability to lift and assist with patient transport as needed.

Qualifications

• Active EMT certification (NJ/NY/PA or national) with CPR.
• Must be 18+ with a valid driver’s license.
• Able to read and write legibly, understand medical terms, and use computer input programs.
• Ability to stay calm and provide one-to-one care to guests or employees.
• Capable of lifting adults (~100 lbs) onto/off stretchers with one helper.

Responsibilities

• Provide medical care to employees and guests.
• Provide emergency transportation for employees and guests as needed.
• Maintain all equipment and facilities of the Medical Division.
• Maintain and secure all medical records, including inputting incidents in the computer.
• Conduct safety inspections throughout the park as requested by the Safety Manager.

Job Summary:The Emergency Medical Technician will provide medical care to our employees and guests. Maintain a safe environment and project positive Public Relations. Abide by and enforce all rules, regulations, and policies established by the Management of the Company with respect to the Laws of Local, State and Federal Government.

Responsibilities

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Provide medical care to our Employees and Guests.
• Provide Emergency transportation for Employees and Guests as needed.
• Maintain all equipment and facilities of the Medical Division.
• Maintain and properly secure all medical records. Including in-putting all incidents in the computer.
• Conduct "Safety Inspections" throughout the Park(s) as requested by the Safety Manager.

Qualifications

The Ideal Candidate Must Possess:

• Must be18 years of ageand have aVALID Drivers License
• Must be anActive NJ, NY, PA State or Nationally Certified EMT, with current certifications including CPR.
• Must be able to read and write legibly, and understand all medical terms and have understanding of computer in-put programs.
• Ability to maintain composure, and treat guest(s) or employee(s) on a one-to-one treatment environment.
• Ability to perform EMT care inclusive of Lifting Adult individuals onto and off of stretchers with the assistance of only one other person. (Approx. 100 lbs.)
