The UCLA Center for Prehospital Care at the David Geffen School of Medicine in the Department of Emergency Medicine is seeking a Paramedic Program Faculty member to join our Paramedic Education team. EMS Program Faculty work under the direction of the Paramedic Program Director and collaborate closely with the Medical Director, fellow educators, and the management team within the UCLA Center for Prehospital Care. This role includes delivering engaging instruction across various paramedic education programs, including primary, hybrid, refresher, and continuing education courses.
As a member of our EMS Program Faculty, you will provide direct student support through academic coaching, remediation, and performance assessments. Responsibilities include developing and delivering interactive lectures, instructing hands‑on skills labs, incorporating simulation‑based learning, and serving as an academic advisor. You will also participate in curriculum development, including lesson plan alignment with current EMS guidelines and assessments, and contribute to educational research initiatives. Professional collaboration with department directors, administrative staff, and students is essential, as is engagement in outreach events representing the paramedic program.
This is a full‑time position requiring an on‑site presence 3-4 days per week, including some evenings and occasional weekends. UCLA Health salary range for this title code is $5,908.33 - $12,100 monthly.
