Qualifications

• MD/DO degree required and eligible for medical licensure in Washington State.
• Board certification in Emergency Medicine and EMS Medicine is required.
• Minimum two years of leadership experience in EMS medical direction.

Responsibilities

• Provide medical oversight for the Seattle EMS system and UW programs, including QA and governance.
• Lead the UW Paramedic Training Program, CME programs, and ongoing EMS education.
• Coordinate with Fire, Police, and regional EMS leadership for system-wide improvements.
• Support research activities and data-driven performance improvement across the EMS network.
