Qualifications

• A.A. degree or equivalent with 2–5 years related experience; bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Weight must not exceed 250 pounds and age under 70.
• FAA instrument rating and multiengine requirements per category.

Responsibilities

• Operates Air Methods aircraft in a safe and legal manner.
• Completes pre-flight checks and Daily Flight Log sign-offs.
• Final authority for aircraft operations and passenger safety.
• Familiar with medical systems of backup aircraft and flight team.
• Conducts detailed flight planning with little notice.
• Participates in meetings, projects, committees and outreach.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
