Essential Functions

• Provides emergency medical treatment including the injections of drugs and medications and intravenous fluids to injured, sick, or incapacitated persons
• Operates an emergency medical vehicle
• Lifts, carries and transports injured, sick or incapacitated persons from residential or accident scenes to medical facilities

Physical Requirements & Working Conditions

• Meets regular and punctual attendance standards and any special needs of the position as determined by management, including mandatory overtime and performing related work
• Must lift and carry items weighing up to 100 pounds in a team setting
• Lifts and carries items weighing in excess of 100 pounds in a team setting

Minimum Requirements

• High school diploma or the equivalent

Other Minimums

• Must pass a pre-employment drug screening
• Must pass a pre-employment physical examination
• Must pass a pre-employment polygraph test
• Must pass an annual medical examination as mandated by OSHA
