Job summary

Team Mobile Health Care is seeking a Billing Specialist to ensure timely claim preparation, accurate coding, and prompt posting of payments. You will coordinate with EMS crews and field staff, review documentation, and maintain a clean claims pipeline to maximize reimbursement and compliance.

You will apply ICD-10/HCPCS/CPT guidelines, handle front-end denials, monitor payer updates, and reconcile postings while protecting patient privacy under HIPAA requirements.

Qualifications

• Two years of medical billing experience preferred.
• Experience with ambulance or EMS billing strongly preferred.
• Knowledge of ICD-10, HCPCS, and CPT coding principles.

Responsibilities

• Review PCRs for completeness, accuracy, and billing readiness.
• Apply coding per Medicare/Medicaid/commercial payer guidelines.
• Submit clean claims with high first-pass acceptance.
