Reporting directly to the Division Chief of Training, Safety, and Special Operations, and collaborating with both agencies’ EMS leadership and medical direction, the Advanced Practice Coordinator identifies service gaps, develops education, verifies provider competency, provides continuing education, and coordinates the equipment, procedures, and clinical review processes needed to support advanced patient care.

The Training Division is a joint, cooperative program between RWB and SFE that emphasizes consistency, collaboration, and innovation. Together, the team develops and delivers high-quality training programs, ensuring Summit County fire districts are equipped with the latest firefighting skills, EMS field and clinical knowledge, and leadership tools necessary to serve our communities.

This is a full-time, non-exempt position based in Frisco, CO, with a starting salary of $120,000 and a comprehensive benefit package including CO PERA retirement. The position is funded by the Colorado Rural Health Transformation Program and is expected to be funded through September 30, 2031.
