Job summary

Validation & Engineering Group, Inc. seeks an EMPQ Validation Specialist to support environmental monitoring performance qualification activities in a biotechnology manufacturing facility. You will collaborate with Microbiology, Validation, Manufacturing, and Quality teams to complete qualification tasks while maintaining GMP-compliant documentation.

The role requires a strong scientific foundation, hands-on willingness, and a proactive approach to problem solving in a field setting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Microbiology or Biology is required.
• 5+ years of relevant experience in a biotech or pharmaceutical GMP environment.
• Experience with environmental monitoring, cleanroom practices, and qualification documentation.
• Strong technical writing, attention to detail, and communication skills.
• Willingness to learn, take initiative, and support hands-on work as project needs evolve.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, review, and execute EMPQ protocols and supporting documentation.
• Perform environmental sampling and document results in accordance with approved procedures.
• Review data, identify discrepancies, and support investigations and corrective actions.
• Work closely with Microbiology, Validation, Manufacturing, and Quality teams to complete qualification activities.
• Maintain accurate records and follow GMP and site procedures.
