Elwyn is hiring an Adult Day Instructor at the Brookhaven program site in Delaware County. The role focuses on supervising and guiding adults served in daily living activities, safety, and community involvement, with an emphasis on individualized support plans.

Responsibilities include assisting with medications per protocols, coordinating transportation, and ensuring safety through emergency readiness. The position offers comprehensive benefits and a flexible schedule.

Qualifications

• One year experience with individuals with intellectual/developmental disabilities preferred.
• Demonstrated strong attention to detail and time management.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• CPR/First Aid and medication administration per agency protocols.

Responsibilities

• Maintain supervision per the support plan and program site requirements.
• Supervise and guide individuals in daily living activities and community participation.
• Administer medications per physician orders and protocols.
• Coordinate transportation needs as per site and plan.
• Respond to emergencies and conduct drills; ensure safety and security.
• Complete attendance, goal reports, and other required documentation.
• Provide lunch coverage and bus duty support.
• Maintain supplies and cleanliness; report issues to supervisor.
