Qualifications

• Engagement skills to engage learners and foster ambition.
• Emotional support to positively impact students’ lives.
• Academic background in a relevant teaching subject and SEN awareness.
• Core teaching qualifications or willingness to obtain QTS/QTLS.
• Experience in a school environment, preferably secondary.
• Proficiency in teaching English, Maths or Science (grade 4/C or higher).
• Understanding of alternative provision and SEND.

Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality teaching and promote pupil achievement, personal development and wellbeing.
• Build trusted relationships with pupils and families as a Form Tutor.
